Science: Classification
During this course we work on
classifying and organizing skills. We use things like plants,
animals, soils and other materials in our study. The purpose is to
learn how and why things are organized into groups and classes.
This could possibly be integrated with
reading, writing, communication and others.
Animal Classification
During this unit we focus on the organization of animal groups. We learn the
various names of groups and what characteristic determines an animals group.
We also learn the purpose of classification.
Lesson One - Mammals
This lesson is about the animal group called Mammals. During this lesson
students will learn the main features of mammals, learn the names of many different
mammals and a bit about them.

This lesson is about the animal group called Reptiles. During this lesson
students will learn the main features of a reptile, learn the names of many
different reptiles and a bit about them.
